Nutritional Therapy is the use of foods, diets, supplements, functional testing and dietary assessment and support to help people reach their health goals. Health goals can range from weight management to disease symptom support, hormonal balancing, digestive problems, eating for a healthy pregnancy and much more. The primary focus of Nutritional Therapy is ‘Food as Medicine’, evidence-based interventions of diet and dietary habits to optimize health and wellness.
Nutritional therapy seeks to restore the body’s vital energy through changes in diet, lifestyle, cleansing and correcting nutritional deficiencies. It seeks to identify and address not just the symptoms, but also the root cause of disease. My aim is to educate the client and get them enjoying food again.
