Bella Dorey

Therapies: Nutritional Therapist

Bella Dorey is a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist, registered with FNTP. She has always had a huge interest in food since she was a small child, however it wasn’t until she experienced many of her own health issues, that she started realising how much of an impact food really has and that many of today’s illnesses can be brought on by food, meaning that they have the potential to be reversed with food.

She has a holistic, compassionate and personalised approach when it comes to nutrition. She does not believe in 'diets' but believes in teaching her clients to develop a healthy relationship with food by following a balanced diet for long-term health, with foods that nourish both the body and the mind. She considers each individual to be unique and recommends personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes as opposed to a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

As a practitioner she will never recommend nutritional therapy as a replacement for medical advice and will always refer any client with ‘red flag’ signs or symptoms to their medical professional.

Ceri Vosper

Therapies: Physiotherapy

Ceri trained at Pinderfields Hospital in Yorkshire and qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1983. Since this time she has worked in a number of settings gaining a large variety of experience. Initially working in a large general hospital and then working within private hospitals gave her an understanding of immediate post operative care with both medical and orthopedic patients as well as the management of neurological conditions. Subsequently these skills were transferable to a community post, working locally for a GP practice where all conditions were treated and a home visit service for patients suffering from acute back pain was established. Since then Ceri has worked in a number of private practices including a specific sports injury clinic and has managed a therapy team at a school for students with complex needs.

Both muscular and neurological conditions have formed the basis of her experience using similar techniques to mobilise joints, muscles and soft tissues however the pain and restriction is caused. A variety of techniques can be applied to all areas of the body ranging from the small joints to the spine. The aim of any treatment being, to restore movement and function with a reduction in any resulting pain and discomfort. There is also a need for education of any condition and hopefully as a patient, you will gain an understanding of how to further help yourself with a combination of postural advice and a home exercise program.
